SWEEP-Liberia Deepens Commitment to Female Enrollment in Vocational TradesPAYNESVILLE – The SWEEP-Liberia Academy & TVET has reaffirmed its progressive 60% girls and 40% boys enrollment policy aimed at heavily involving young women in fields traditionally dominated by men. Located opposite the Police Academy Sanitation Junction, the institution is successfully training young women in technical trades such as Electrical Engineering, Plumbing, CCTV Installation, and Computer Hardware maintenance.This push for female inclusion is backed by holistic local support, including the dedication of safe space hygiene facilities on campus by the Let's Care Africa Foundation (LECAF). By empowering women with concrete, marketable vocational skills, SWEEP-Liberia is actively rewriting the economic narrative for women across Montserrado County.
